Training

Through a competitive immersion course taught by the best in the industry, we teach a new generation of Baltimoreans how to tell the stories that build them up. If you must tell about the nightmares that keep you screaming and shamed, make sure you kill that monster in the story. Our Training Schedule

We are building a hub for Baltimore’s trained story makers. They will be our partners in producing top-notch story content that will be released primarily through Tictocmind’s digital platform and possible partnerships with established channels.

Films and Festivals:

We will also be featuring select documentaries that are free-streaming every other week.

As official curators of the Overlea ArtsFest Films for three years, we have the experience to build Baltimore’s premier StoryFest that features locally produced documentaries and short films. Our Team

Azolla — The Super Plant

  • Azolla: a small-leaf floating fern. One of the fastest growing plants on the planet. It doubles its weight in 3 to 5 days thanks to each leaf having a sealed cavity that is home to the cyanobacterium Anabaena, which fertilizes the plant with nitrogen in exchange for sugars produced during photosynthetic processes in the leaf.

  • Ten square meters of Azolla, which is equivalent to 700 houseplants, can provide enough oxygen in a room for one person and remove carbon dioxide and contaminants from the air. Azolla is the best option for a biological-based life support system for long-duration space missions. It is also suitable for use as animal feed and plant fertilizer.

  • The Azolla Event is believed to be responsible for the development of the atmosphere millions of years ago, transforming it from greenhouse gas carbon dioxide to the oxygen base atmosphere we live in today.

Indoor air pollution is estimated by the EPA, to be 2 to 5 times greater than that of outdoor air

  • tictocmind™ Natural Indoor Air Quality Enhancer, in development stage, absorbs carbon dioxide and pollutants and produces oxygen using tiny fast-growing aquatic ferns in a design that mimics Earth’s natural ecosystem.
